The first step in our kitchen design process at JWB Joinery is your obligation-free measure and quote. We will book an appointment time for one of our experienced design team to come to your home and measure the space requiring cabinetry. We will then spend some time with you to discuss your needs and lifestyle. We will then draw a tailored design to suit your needs and send you a proposal with a 3D image of your design.

Order

If you decide to go ahead with your custom cabinetry and accept the proposal, we will arrange an appointment time for you to sit down with one of the designers, who will guide you through the selection process for your materials. We carry all required samples for you to view and help you choose.

Viewing your custom cabinetry live in 3D is great for visualising how your cabinetry will look in your space and assists with colour selection. Once you are happy to proceed and have approved your design and selections, we will send a copy of your invoice and selections with a payment plan.

Get Started

Production

Once payment has been received and plans are signed, we will order your materials and put your job in production. A copy of the architectural plans will be provided to you so you can provide your trades. If we are arranging our preferred trades we will forward them directly.

Your project manager will create your cutting lists and source all materials and trades required to complete your order. We will manufacture your order in our workshops. The project manager assigned to your order will oversee the entire process to ensure attention to detail is applied before reviewing and inspecting all finished cabinetry before it is loaded up into our truck for delivery to locations in Townsville, Charters Towers, Ayr, Ingham and Magnetic Island.

Pre-Installation

We will call you in advance to arrange an installation date. If we are supplying the required trades, plumbers, electricians, tilers, etc, we will liaise with them to make sure we have a schedule that runs smoothly.

If you are supplying your own trades, you will need to liaise with them regarding the placement of pipes, wiring, etc., as well as the dates and times they will be required to isolate, relocate and reconnect. You will need to empty out all cabinetry that we are removing prior to our arrival.

Installation

On the day of installation, prior to our arrival, the required tradesman, electrician, plumber, etc., will arrive to isolate and do any required prep work. We will remove and dispose of your existing cabinetry and install your new cabinetry on the same day. Your required tradesman would then return to reconnect, tile etc.

If you have selected stone benchtops, the stonemason will arrive after the installation of cabinets to measure for a template. Normally, the stone is installed a week later, which is when the required trades, electrician, plumber, etc., will reattend to reconnect.
